Problem Solving for Your Project or Business - Open Space Action Learning Session - Week 14 Tuesday March 23 – with Erica Sosna of Life Skills Education experts The Life Project.

Action Learning is an accelerated learning tool which can be applied to any number of different business (and personal) issues and challenges. Action Learning is about meeting with others in order to explore solutions to real problems and decide on the action you wish to take. The phases include:

1. Describing the problem as you see it
2. Receiving contributions from others in the form of questions, suggestions and feedback.
3. Reflecting on the discussion and deciding what action to take
4. Reporting back on what happened when you took action
5. Reflecting on the problem-solving process and how well it is working
Bring details of your project or business to the session.

WHAT IS A BSCENE EVENT?
This is a drop in training and networking event for creative and social entrepreneurs at all stages of their business and is free of charge. There's no need to book. Just turn up and bring your business cards and an open mind!

FORMAT OF THE EVENING...
Refreshments are available and the evenings involve informal networking, fun warm-up exercises to help everyone get to know each other and a talk or workshop as listed above. It's a great way to meet other entrepreneurs, share resources, learn some new skills and have some fun!

WHEN AND WHERE?
Bscene events are held roughly every couple of weeks at Werkshop venues (The Werks, Westwerks, Coachwerks, Lewes Werks)- check individual events for the venue details. Please arrive promptly at 6pm and buzz 33 to get in. The event runs till 8.30pm

GETTING TO WESTWERKS
Westwerks is in the Poet’s Corner area of West Hove on Portland Road.
We are about a mile from the sea and about three miles from Brighton city centre or about twenty minutes on a bus. Our address is 41-43 Portland Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 5DQ.
There are regular bus services and the bus stop is just down the road - 2A ,25A , 46 , 49 , 49A , 95 , 95A , N25.
You can park on Portland Road, its meter parking up until 8 PM and costs £1.30 for two hours. You can also park on a meter in the roads north of Portland Road.
But why not cycle? There are plenty of trees and bicycle parking stations outside the venue!
